Paloma Suertegaray

Account Manager

A journalist with a degree in Social Communication from Universidade de Brasília (2013) and winner of journalism awards, Paloma is in charge of implementing TORRE’s diversified strategies for clients in various areas, with special skills in analytical texts and inputs for the press and other opinion makers. She has a specialization degree in Strategic Communication Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Political Advisory, Government and Public Policies at UnB.


She has a keen eye for political issues, the result of her experiences such as participating in the agenda coordination team at Agência Brasília – the official news channel of the Brazilian Government – from 2015 to 2018. Some of the functions performed were to daily organize the reporting team, to manage the internet portal and to define coverage and dissemination. Previously, she worked as a reporter for the Cities editorial section of Correio Braziliense, covering issues related to human rights, environment, health, safety, culture and local politics.


She won the 2015 Petrobrás Journalism Award, for best report on socio-environmental responsibility in the North, Center-West and Minas Gerais regions. In the same year, she was also a finalist for the 2nd Paulo Octavio Journalism Award, in the category of Best Newspaper Report. She worked as subeditor of the Aqui-DF newspaper, in charge of the culture section, and as press officer at the UnB Technological Development Support Center (CDT/UnB).
