Nicole’s résumé caught the attention of TORRE’s Board of Directors due to her intensely political and institutional experiences related to power and regulatory issues. Examples include performing as an editor of political campaign videos for social media in the 2022 elections, and her time at the complex Ministry of Mines and Energy, where she produced and scripted videos for the public body’s main media outlets. During that time, she improved her skills with authorities by joining the minister during national official meetings around the country. She also implemented the “MME em pauta” (MME on the agenda), as to know, weekly videos that compiled all the events happening in the ministry during the week.
Nicole Angel also performed in another highly technical area with political implications: infrastructure. She worked as a journalist at the Instituto Brasil Logística, responsible for producing articles on the national logistics and infrastructure sector, as well as covering legislative matters affecting both sectors. She supported the government, institutional and communications relations department during public hearings and legislative sessions. She used this experience right from the start at TORRE, as she worked for an entity representing the Construction Industry.
To complement this strategic profile, Nicole has experience in the press, especially in media outlets with national reach. Because of her degree in journalism from Instituto de Ensino Superior de Brasília (IESB), she used to be a reporter for G1, covering a wide range of topics in the country’s capital, mainly in Education and Health. At TV Band, she was a producer and coordinator of the afternoon news program. She was a political correspondent reporter for Bahia Notícias, in Brasília. There, she worked on the national political coverage of relevant events in the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branches.
In the audiovisual sector, she was a producer and video editor for a YouTube channel at a content agency.
