The combination of experiences in the press and in strategic consultancy was decisive for Pedro Alves to join TORRE Comunicação e Estratégia. During his 10 years of practice in the market, he served two important bodies – the Federal Court of Auditors (TCU) and the Chamber of Deputies – an ecosystem that often poses challenges for TORRE’s clients.

Adding to the strategic profile of our company, Pedro Alves has also worked in the newsrooms of some of the largest media outlets in the country, covering local and national events. At Metrópoles, he was a reporter for the Supreme Federal Court (STF), covering notable stories such as Lula’s trial and imprisonment. He then worked for the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo and the legal portal JOTA, an essential vehicle for Law professionals. More recently, he performed for five years as the Politics editor for the G1 portal. He also participated in local news programs for TV Globo in Brasília.

Pedro’s diverse background contributed to this interesting mix of experiences: he has a degree in journalism from Universidade de Brasília (UnB), completed an MBA in Digital Journalism and also in Strategic Management in Public Administration.
