Tina Vieira

Tina Vieira is among the rare profiles in Communication that achieved prominence both in her work as a journalist and in her advisory/corporate career – in a trajectory of 30 years of experience. Among the national communication means where she worked, we can mention TV Globo, Jornal do Brasil, Correio Braziliense and Revista Época where she almost always covered politics and/or legal matters. Born in Brasília, profoundly knowledgeable of the intricacies of the constituted Powers, she worked as political columnist, editor and special reporter.

Her talent resulted in invitations to work on large Corporate Communication accounts, always with a view to handling sensitive political, economic and regulatory issues. At FSB Comunicações, for example, she was Director of the Political Center at the Brasília office, responsible for congress monitoring products and communication plans aimed at large clients. At that company, she specialized in training spokespersons and crisis management. Her responsibilities increased with the invitation to go to the headquarters of FSB, in Rio de Janeiro, where she was service director in the department of government accounts, which clients included the government of state of Rio de Janeiro, the governments of the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Niterói and large private sector companies.

In 2010, she took the leap to becoming an independent consultant, with an emphasis on training and working on critical or sensitive cases, often as a strategic partner sought by different communication agencies. During this period, in addition to the Confederação Nacional da Indústria (CNI), she provided training for executives at Petrobras, Vale, Caixa and Banco do Brasil. Among other special missions, she prepared federal government spokespersons for the 2016 Olympics and 2014 World Cup projects.

In 2019, she had her second experience living abroad (she already had the training experience in New York), when she moved to Lisbon – where she provided advice to a technology company, to the Lisbon Legal Forum and to the Brazil Europe Integration Forum, an entity created by Brazilian and Portuguese jurists and which brings together more than 400 associates including jurists, businessmen, bankers.

When TORRE Comunicação e Strategies made the invitation to Tina Vieira, the idea was to significantly increase our formulation and planning capacity in complex cases – a task she has shown to be totally up to, especially during the 2022 election period when she managed the Twitter service.
