Journalist with 17 years of experience with media relations at the federal, state and municipal levels in the areas of public policy and advocacy, Allan specializes in image management, crisis management, media analysis and social communication product preparation, both in public and private institutions.

With a bachelor’s degree from Universidade Federal de Sergipe, and a graduate degree in Organizational Communication and New Technologies, as well as in Digital Communication, Web journalism and New Media, while in Aracaju, he worked on the development of digital communication processes and products for the state government and for the state capital government and in the content production and editing departments of news agencies, in the areas of infrastructure, housing, transportation, social assistance and health. For six years, he was a press officer for the State Public Security Secretariat and worked for some time for the Justice and Citizenship Secretariat.

When he moved to Brasília, he worked for six years to improve the reputation of the Ministry of Justice (MJ) and the national agenda on several issues of relevance, such as consumer law, international legal cooperation, migrations, refugees, human trafficking, drug policies, restorative justice, legislative drafting, access to justice and indigenous policy.

He also worked for the national agenda to increase its focus on fighting corruption, money laundering and piracy, at the executive branch level, as well as to articulate a national network of press officers to improve regional and national media coverage on issues such as border protection, security financing, intelligence, integrated information systems, professional training, prison system and human rights.

He participated in the preparation and management of security social communications during the cycles of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games, working with national and international press and assisting the main responsible managers.

He was a reporter and editor for the main portals and local newspapers of Sergipe.
