Denise Madueño


A journalist with experience and a notorious career in the market as a political and financial content reporter, Denise covered the main events in the country, including facts and articulations of the various agents on the national scene and the votes of the National Congress, during the years she worked at the newspapers Folha de S. Paulo and O Estado de S. Paulo and at Agência Estado. She also wrote the Cenário Político column for Broadcast, a product specializing in financial information from Agência Estado.

At the beginning of her career, in the 1980s, she worked at TV Manchete, reporting on the country’s remarkable history, such as the first direct presidential election during the democratization period and the work of the National Constituent Assembly.

In more than three decades of professional experience, since 2013, she has been focusing in the area of corporate communications, crisis management and monitoring and communication projects. She was executive manager of Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), worked in communications for the ministries of Culture, Science and Technology and Defense and the Brazilian National Bar Association.

She has a graduate degree in journalism from Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), and a specialization degree in Political Science from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
