With a degree in Organizational Communication from Universidade de Brasília (UnB), Géssica also has a postgraduate degree in Communication and Marketing from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and in Legal and Political Discourse Analysis from Unyleya. At TORRE, she works as a communication consultant, providing and supporting strategic communication solutions for professional entities and private accounts.

Besides, she has experience in media training. She uses a method of simulating client interviews with the press and subsequently undertakes a critical analysis and guidance to ensure a better performance of spokespeople in media situations.

She gained experience in institutional relations and protocol, as she worked for three years with public authorities, such as the Federal Audit Court and the Planning and Logistics Company (Empresa de Planejamento e Logística). As a volunteer, she was Communication Director for the Vestibular Cidadão project in 2016.
